Current Projects: 

  • Intro & Essay in Native Peoples & National Parks (University of Oklahoma Press, 2022).

  • Historical report in support of the Southern Sierra Miwuk's federal recognition process.

  Substantial revision of book-length histories related to Redwood National & State Parks, Tallgrass Prairie National                 Preserve, River Raisin National Battlefield Park, and Fort Union Trading Post National Historic Site. 

  • Developing a project in partnership with Joosung Kim, a Los Angeles and London based documentary film maker, that

    showcases Native-led projects to restore the cultual and ecological integrity of their homelands within and near

    national park boundaries.
